Lift is a video documentary about peoples’ daily activities while in lifts. Marc Isaacs is the director of the documentary and is also in the role as the cameraman and sound operator. The movie is very straightforward as you can see he is in an elevator filming what people do in an elevator. He also asks questions to the trespassers. He asks questions about there life in general and what they do everyday. I think he had to ask questions to the trespassers to keep everything going. By this I mean if he was only filming, it would be very dull and boring for the audience so by persuading the audience to stay interested he had to add something extra.

Director-They often develop the vision for a film and carry the vision out, deciding how the film should look.

Producer- film producer is someone who creates the scenes and conditions for making movie. The producer initiates, co-ordinates, supervises and controls matters such as fund-raising, hiring key personnel and arranging for distributors. The producer is involved throughout all phases of the film-making process from development to completion of a project.

Sound Operator- is the person responsible for the overall and total execution of all sound-related aspects of a theatrical performance. He is also responsible for the effects added by the sound.

Editor- An editor is someone who begins the process of changing the video, sound or image of an original video.
