Despite four weeks into college, I still feel the urge to act in the same manner as I did during secondary school- making promises that I would do all coursework/homework in due time, try to wake up as early as I can to prepare for college. However this has not been the case, TO BE CONTINUED..
Frankie, some thoughts on your project and blog so far; The blog is a too cluttered with irrelevant ‘staff’ postings. Can you delete these so that followers of your blog can see your reflections only? AO 1 demands ‘clarity’. Your blog is the vehicle for your Activity Log. It is important that you tell the story of the project. You need to include all details from today’s session, not just the main points. Can you illustrate your blog more? It looks a bit bit dull so far. Although you have done the work, you have not really shown your complete Project Proposal here. This is vital! Some good work done on AO 2 - the reviews of the short films watched are interesting if a bit superficial. You must include references in a bibliography or similar form. Primary research sources must be used. How have you found out about short films or blogs directly from people who know about them and can help you with yours? Have you completed the ‘5 W’s’ sheet? It’s not on the blog.
Muntasir, some thoughts on your project and blog so far.
You have clearly posted your Project Proposal form. The main question though is not clear- you need to change this to something like, ” Can I make a film using ……..”. Whatever te wording, the proposal must be in the form of a question.
Can you include some more images n your blog/ They help to illustrate your work.
AO1 Your activity log is complete but lacks some detail - try to include all the activities covered eery seson, and your thoughts about them. Can you show where your plans changed during the project?
AO 2 For research, you must show that you have used a range of sources. Can you look at three blogs and evaluate them as discussed? Also have you asked your target audience about their thoughts on your proposal?
Have you done the ‘5 W’s’ questions set for homework last week? Thought not!
Include a bibliography!
Firstly I interviewed one of my fellow classmates Craig, asking him his opinions on which world cup he prefers and also the world cup he follows. Like nearly everyone else Craig chose the football world cup. I asked him what he thinks about the world cup overall and which team he thinks will win it this year.

Some thoughts on your project and blog so far.
AO 1 Your Project Proposal document which you have completed, has not been included in your blog. You could scan the hard copy in to save time.
Activity log - your blog posts are clear but you could enhance clarity by giving them dates and titles that show how they fit into an overall plan.
More images to illustrate your text would liven up your log.
AO 2 Research needs to be carried out using a wide range of resources. Your reviews of ‘The Lift’ and ‘Rize’ are of some value but lack evidence of in-depth understanding of how they were made and why they work (or not). You need to supplement this work by reviewing three blogs and evaluating the reliability of their sources. Include a bibliography.
Primary research; have you asked your intended audience for their views on your ideas?
AO 3 & 4 keep up the blogging - more detail to continue covering the relevant points in these to assessment objectives.
Mr Liggett
Today we are filming again. Before you start, make sure the following tasks are completed:
Set up HDV camera, rewind film to start.
Set up video log sheet on Neo-Office. You will need to have a column for start and finish time of shot, kind of shot e.g. extreme close up and content e.g. Jake’s hands. You can also highlight any problems withe film e.g. sound.
Go through the film and complete logging process.
Following this, check the work you have done so far against your production schedule.
Filming session then continues, this time you must record work for use on filming log.
Anyone you film must be given and told to complete a release form, otherwise the film cannot be used in your final production.
Despite coming late to todays to todays lesson due to my exam back in school,I managed to complete the tasks set. I arrived to todays lesson at breaktime which meant I was steps behind from the work set before break. After break I was set a task which was to configure my documentary. I was fairly happy because it meant I was not behind from the work set earlier.

World Cups Special
Running Time: Maximum five minutes
I have come up with the idea of making a documentary reminiscing about the many sport world cups played today. Worlds Cups such as the Rugby World Cup, Cricket World Cup, Football World Cup,Basketball World Cup and Athletics World Championship (Olympics).
I will be able to interview persons asking them of their favourite memory of any world cup.
I will collect several videos of one world cup depending on the interviewee’s chosen world cup. For example, I ask someone which sport they prefer, from there I will move onto asking if they have ever watched a world cup game for that sport. While they speak a footage from the world cup will be viewed and to avoid displeasing the interviewee their voice will be played in the background.
During the middle, I will produce a commentary on a previous world cup while watching. A footage from a chosen world cup will be played and I will attempt to say the exact words of the commentator during that world cup, before this I will need to rehearse. i.e Diego Maradona’s ‘Hand of God’ moment. I will interpret the commentators commenting but in my own version.
At the end of the footage I will produce a short video marked to a previous significant world cup moment and making it to our own version using those I interviewed.
At the end of todays lesson, I and my group members were faced with an experiencing task of interviewing a member of staff of the school. This was a challenging task for me because I have never interviewed an adult and to be able to achieve this was a big confidence boost. I was the interviewer, Osasu was the Cameraman and Manuel was the sound operator.
